Roma continued their pursuit of leaders Internazionale with victory over Napoli, Juventus tightened their grip on third, while Milan closed the gap on fourth-placed Fiorentina.
Catania moved out of the Serie A relegation zone by beating bottom club Cagliari, but Empoli drop into the bottom three after losing at home to Milan.
After Inter's 2-0 home win over Reggina on Saturday,
Roma responded with a 2-0 success of their own as Luciano Spalletti's side won at
Napoli.
