MAZZONE HAPPY WITH BAGGIO

BRESCIA coach Carlo Mazzone has confirmed that he has a good relationship with Italian star Roberto Baggio.

The Divine Ponytail has been out of action for a long spell, but there would appear to be no problems between the 34-year-old and his coach.

"Baggio is a superstar," said Mazzone. "He will have a place in the first team, for sure."

The Brescia boss does not want his best players, Baggio and Andrea Pirlo, to have to fight for a place in the starting eleven, as he feels they have the quality to hurt opposition defences.

However, Baggio will sit on the bench on Saturday afternoon at the Artemio Franchi in Florence.

The veteran forward has not played for two months, and he is thought to need some more days of recovery, and hard graft, before he is ready for 90 minutes.

Meanwhile, defender Aimo Diana is suffering from a muscle strain, but the medical staff are convinced he will be ready to play in the clash against Fiorentina.
