Di Livio leaves Viola

The veteran midfielder has been allowed to leave the Serie A new boys after failing to agree a contract extension.
Fiorentina claim that the former Italian international's demands were far too excessive and they had no choice but to let him go.
"Di Livio's economical requests weren't similar to our offer. Our relationship with him is closed," said Viola's general director Fabrizio Lucchesi.
"Di Livio asked for a sum three times higher than the one we could give him.
"The agreement was that then he would become an official for the club. He wanted to continue playing, but he wanted too much so he will have to do it elsewhere."
