VFL Bochum striker Peter Madsen is the latest player to withdraw from the squad due to a stomach problem, and joins Asbjorn Sennels on the sidelines after the Brondby defender suffered a hamstring injury.
Madsen has scored six goals in Die Bundesliga so far this season and will be denied the chance to claim his tenth international cap.
Olsen also faced a depleted squad for the 2-1 defeat against Greece in February, and was resigned to accepting the hand that fate has dealt him.
"It's frustrating, but we have to accept the conditions at the moment," said Olsen.
Meanwhile winger Martin Jorgensen has allayed some of Olsen's fears after insisting that his foot injury is not serious.
The Fiorentina man (pictured) joined up with his international compatriots a day late, and admitted the Serie A side would have preferred him to rest.
"It's nothing big, I stayed another day in Italy because the club wanted my foot to get examined there," said Jorgensen.
"But there was no problem to leave, although the club would probably have preferred that I had stayed."
