Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli admits he is aware of the pressure growing around his team.
Coupled with their 19-point penalty following their involvement in the match-fixing scandal, the Viola have lost both of their opening two games.
Prandelli insists he is not too concerned by the start his side have made to the new season but concedes the pressure from outside is worrying him.
Fiorentina's latest defeat came against Livorno at the weekend but Prandelli remains confident in his side's ability.
"I'm not worried by the team. I'm only worried about the way people consider matches from the outside and from the press," Prandelli told the club's official website.
"They are giving us a lot of pressure and some critics arrive with excessive hurry.
"The team must only think about playing. We didn't deserve to lose. We played a good second half."
Fiorentina striker Luca Toni concedes his side must improve in front of goal, starting against Parma in midweek.
"We are aware of the fact that we must do much better," he said. "We played well (against Livorno) but must begin to score because our standing is bad.
"On Wednesday, against Parma, we must win."
However, he is refusing to worry about the club's lowly league position.
Toni added: "We will see where we are in two or three months."
