Joaquin is happy to stay at Valencia after attracting interest from Blackburn Rovers, but his agent is not ruling out a move before the close of the transfer window.
Reports in Spain have claimed that Blackburn have lined up Joaquin as a possible replacement for David Bentley on the right wing.
The player's agent Eduardo Espejo met with Valencia vice-president Fernando Gomez on Tuesday to discuss the Spain international's future at the Mestalla.
Espejo admits Joaquin could already have left Valencia if it was a question of money and says the 27-year-old is willing to stay.
"The future of Joaquin is to be at Valencia as he is a Valencia player and has a contract with the club," Espejo told Las Provincias.
"But if an offer arrives that the club is interested in, Joaquin will have to listen, and also vice-versa.
"However, he came to Valencia with a wage ceiling and a big dream, which continues, and hopefully he still has the fans' affection.
"People have been unjust with Joaquin. He is not only interested in money because if he was he would now be in England or Italy."
