Massimo Ambrosini admits he would be forced to leave Italy if he is not offered a new deal at AC Milan.
The experienced midfielder has spent the last 15 years with the Rossoneri, becoming a club legend along the way.
He is, however, set to see his current contract expire at the end of the season and is yet to be offered fresh terms.
With such strong ties to Milan, the 33-year-old admits he would find it impossible to turn out for any other Serie A club should he fail to earn an extension.

"After 15 years, can you see me in another shirt?" he said to
Gazzetta dello Sport.
"In Italy, it would be difficult for me."
Ambrosini has no plans to hang up his boots just yet, though, and admits the opportunity to experience a new league and a difficult culture would appeal to him.
"I'm not going to stop, so if I don't find an agreement with AC Milan I will go abroad," he added.
