Juventus have confirmed they are interested in Udinese ace Marek Jankulovski.Juventus have confirmed they are interested in Udinese ace Marek Jankulovski.
The Bianconeri have been tracking the Czech Republic international for some time, but failed to prise him away during the summer transfer window.
Juve general manager Luciano Moggi admitted the club are still keeping tabs on the defender, but are unlikely to make a move for him when the transfer window reopens in January.
"Well, the player interests us, but I can say he won't arrive for this season. We will see next June, surely he won't arrive in January," said Moggi.
Reports in Italy have suggested that Juve's attempts to sign Jankulovski floundered because of a dispute between the Turin outfit and Udinese supremo Giampaolo Pozzo.
Moggi has rejected the claims and insists that both clubs enjoy good relations with each other.
"What quarrel, what dispute? With the Pozzo family I have a really good relationship.
"It has been built on a case that doesn't exist."
Meanwhile, Juve coach Fabio Capello will not rush Alessandro Del Piero back from injury.
Capello does not want to take any risks with the forward as he recovers from a tendon injury.
"As for his injury we want to proceed cautiously, allowing him to recover to fitness in complete serenity, with the possibility to come back on the pitch at 100 percent.
"Obviously the hope is that this will happen as soon as possible."
