Udinese's David Di Michele and Antonio Di Natale have apologised for their outbursts.
Udinese strikers David Di Michele and Antonio Di Natale have publicly apologised for their behaviour during Tuesday's UEFA Champions League game against Werder Bremen.
The duo issued their apology after being hauled before Zebrette director general Pietro Leonardo for a meeting lasting an hour-and-a-half.
Di Michele (pictured), who was clearly furious at being substituted, said: "I apologise to everyone in the dressing room.
"To my team-mates, in particular to Treviso Barreto who replaced me, to the technical staff, to the club, to the supporters and to everybody who saw the match. I'll accept whatever punishments the club decides upon."
Meanwhile, Di Natale also apologised after taunting coach Serse Cosmi with his goal celebrations after scoring the equaliser.
"I have apologised - particularly to the coach, who understood. I will not make the same mistake again."
Cosmi had previously threatened to axe the players if they ever repeated the behaviour.
