Jose Vidigal is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury against Palermo.
Jose Vidigal is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury during Udinese's 0-0 draw with Palermo on Sunday.
The 32-year-old midfielder struggled to stay with the pace during the encounter and it was later revealed that he suffered a thigh injury which is expected to rule him out for around three weeks.
Valerio Bertotto believes that his side will not miss the Portuguese playmaker, however, as they go into their key UEFA Champions League clash with Werder Bremen on Wednesday.
"I am confident," he proclaimed. "This side is improving all the time. We're looking to get back to the top form of a month ago.
"Against Palermo we created chances but couldn't put them away. But the important thing was to give a clear sign that we're ready to face Bremen.Ç¥
