Guidolin, who guided Udinese to fifth last season, has had his contract extended by a further two years, keeping him at the club until 2017.
"I'm proud to continue to be the coach responsible for this team," Guidolin told the club's official website.
"The renewal represents the completion of the sensational season we had last year.
"Here there are ideas and plans. I don't see myself sitting on another bench in Italy."
Although the 57-year-old retains big ambitions for the Udine club, he insists that the first goal is to keep feet on the ground and build from there.
"We will start with the usual humility and the same will to get as soon as possible to the 40 points that means safety," he added.
"We will also do everything we can to get through qualifying and reach the group stage of the Europa League.
"We know it won't be easy, but we will put all of our passion, our strength and our heart in order to get Udinese to a high level."
