The Sampdoria striker had appealed against a 16-month suspension handed down to him at the start of the month.
Flachi tested positive after a Serie A game with Internazionale in January, and was suspended by his club immediately as a precautionary measure.
Now the striker has seen his appeal against the length of his ban fail, and the original punishment extended by the Federal Appeal Commission.
