Talks over a move for the promising 24-year-old seemed to have fallen through, as little as a few days ago, but both sides seem ready to resume talks on Monday.
The Stadio Delle Alpi giants have offered the Bergamo-based side é¼4.5 million (£2.8 million) for Zauri, however Atalanta are reported to be asking for a higher transfer fee.
The Stadio Azzurri D'Italia club are rumoured to be willing to part with one of their prized assets should the Bianconeri offer a fee over é¼6 million (£3.8 million) for the defender.
Juve have been given first refusal on some of Atalanta's top young talent in the past as the Bergamo club continues to attract promising youngsters to the club.
