The Siena supremo has removed Taddei from Siena's first team squad after a row broke out following a proposed summer move to Roma.
Taddei was insistent over a move to Roma this summer, but the transfer never materialised.
With a year left on his contract he says he is prepared to wait until he is a Bosman transfer next summer, but Siena have threatened to banish him to the reserves for the whole of this season.
"I'm continuing doing what I've done in my life," he said.
"It's clear that I'm sorry not to be playing. The coach [Gigi Simoni] has been really close to me: we've spoken frequently and he suggested to me to continue doing my job.
"I've told him I'm at the team's disposal."
The Siena supporters are keen for Taddei to play and they could make an appeal to De Luca during their opening game with Palermo on Sunday.
"I must wait, the supporters are fantastic and I thank them," said Taddei.
"They have to know that I have a big will to play
"When that happens they will see on the pitch the usual Taddei. It's a promise."
