The talented star saw a summer move to Roma collapse after he had agreed personal terms with the capital side.
Siena refused to budge and would not let Taddei leave unless their demands were met by Roma - which they were not.
De Luca has banned Taddei from playing and the signs are that the Brazilian could continue on the sidelines for a sizeable amount of time.
"Taddei is a great player, but not a great man," said De Luca.
"He has become famous thanks to his last season with us, but he has not shown any thankfulness to the club.
"That is why he has been out of action and will be out for the next matches too."
De Luca also spoke about his failed bid for Napoli in the summer.
The Naples-born chief failed with a bid for his hometown club, but he now wishes the newly-relaunched team all the best.
"I have no regrets for what I have done," said De Luca.
"I wish the best for Napoli, but I am happy to be in Serie A with Siena.
"The new owners of Napoli have promised a lot and I truly hope they will keep their promises."
