The Cup has been shrouded in controversy with former player Natalino Fossati claiming the cup had been given to him by then president Orfeo Painelli - who denied the allegation.
For the time being the club are just pleased to have won the £40,000 auction for the trophy with president Tilly Romero admitting it was a joyful moment.
"We can say mission accomplished," said Romero. "It will be the centrepiece of the new Torino museum."
Meanwhile Toro midfielder Alessandro Conticchio is likely to be out of action for a month.
