Free agent decides to stay in Italy
Former AC Milan defender Nicola Legrottaglie has penned a two-year deal with Serie A side Catania.
The Italian centre-back was linked with a move to QPR, however boss Neil Warnock was quick to snub any rumours that the ex-Juventus stalwart would be coming to Loftus Road.
The 34-year-old became a free agent in June after failing to overcome injury at Milan during his six month contract - making just one appearance with the Rossoneri.
Legrottaglie will now be looking to feature in the Sicilian side's opening fixture away at Parma on Sunday.
