The two clubs each own 50 percent of the midfielder`s federal rights, with Chievo agreeing with Vicenza that the player will play his football at Bentegodi Stadium next term.
The 24-year-old spent the whole of last season on loan at Bologna, where he gained valuable experience, and Del Neri believes he will add undoubted strength to the Gialloblu midfield.
The two clubs have also struck a deal with regard to the future of 27-year-old midfielder Andrea Zanchetta, who will spend next term at Vicenza.
In other transfer news, Chievo general manager Giovanni Sartori has approached Serie B club Siena with regard to a deal for goalkeeper Matteo Gianello.
The 26-year-old will continue at Siena next term, but is expected to move to Chievo the following season.
