Striker to quit Marseille
Marseille have reached a deal to sell striker Mamadou Samassa to Valenciennes.
Samassa spent last season on loan at Valenciennes, scoring seven goals.
The 24-year-old was linked with a move to England earlier this summer, but he has ended up staying in France.
The Mali international, who played at youth level for France, was seen by Marseille as a replacement for Djibril Cisse when he first signed in August 2008, but he needed four months to score his first goal and managed only two in 32 appearances.
