Parma midfielder Domenico Morfeo has had a five-match ban for a red card reduced.
Parma midfielder Domenico Morfeo has had his five-match ban for a red card incurred against Reggina partially reduced.
The Italian Disciplinary Commission reduced the ban from five to four matches and also dropped the proposed fine of é¼1,500.
The Commission ruled that Morfeo did strike an opponent, Carlos Paredes, whilst there was a break in play, in addition to being involved in an altercation with the match referee.
However, neither action was deemed sufficiently aggressive to warrant the more severe punishment.
Despite the show of leniency Morfeo will not return to action until the New Year.
