Baiocco had been with the Turin club's training camp in Chatillon, but has now left to join up with his new team-mates.
Reggina will take the player for a year and then decide if they want to make his stay permanent.
"I have not just accepted the club's offer for emotional reasons," insisted the talented midfielder.
"The club gave me the time to reflect on my decision, without placing any pressure on me.
"At the end I decided with great enthusiasm that I should join them.
"They are a serious club and Reggio Calabria is a fantastic city."
