Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann has distanced himself from succeeding Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.

Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis promised to be "bold" in the club's replacement for Wenger, who has decided to call time on his 22-year reign at the end of the season.

Nagelsmann, 30, has earned plaudits as the youngest manager in the Bundesliga and led Hoffenheim into the Champions League for the first time this season, but has dismissed talk of a move to the Premier League.

"I don't think so, no. These are just rumours," he told Sky Sports Germany. "I focus on myself and my team; the focus is on nothing else."

"I'm not annoyed by the discussions. I focus on myself and my team and want to make a good game here today (on Saturday against RB Leipzig)."
