Hamburg eased past Dacia to book their place in the qualifying stages of the Uefa Cup, courtesy of a second half demolition job that saw them score four times to no reply.
A nervous first period saw Hamburg flatter to deceive, the first leg ended in a 1-1 stalemate, but after the interval and the Bundesliga side improved considerably.
Just five minutes after half-time, Hamburg broke their Moldovan visitors' resolve, when Vincent Kompany volleyed in from a corner.
Ivica Olic then crossed for Dutch schemer Rafael van der Vaart to double his side's advantage, before Collin Benjamin and David Jarolim, in the final minute, completed the scoring.
Dutch club Utrecht were left to rue the away goals rule, as they crashed out at the hands of Hammarby following a 1-1 draw, with the first leg having ended in a goalless stalemate.
All the action occurred in a frenetic two minute second-half spell, which saw Utrecht take the lead in the 65th minute through Robin Nelisse, before Sander Keller was sent off, leaving David Johansson to book his side a crack at the Uefa Cup with a leveller just moments later.
Former Wigan midfielder Andreas Johansson proved AaB's matchwinner as his late goal secured his club's progression at the expense of Gent.
Johansson, who spent three seasons in England, headed in the tie's decisive goal in the 79th minute as AaB won 2-1 on the night, 3-2 on aggregate.
