Bayer bring in striker

Bayer Leverkusen have agreed a deal to sign Russian striker Dmitri Bulykin on a free transfer.

Bulykin signs one-year contract

Bayer Leverkusen have agreed a deal to sign Russian striker Dmitri Bulykin on a free transfer. Bulykin has accepted a one-year contract with the Bundesliga side after opting to end his time with Dinamo Moscow. Leverkusen's sporting director Rudi Voller confirmed a deal had been agreed to bring in the former Lokomotiv Moscow starlet. "He has signed a one-year contract with his salary linked to his performance," Voller told Bild. Bulykin started his career with Lokomotiv before joining Dinamo in 2001, but he has struggled in recent seasons. He has slipped out of the international reckoning, having scored seven goals in 15 appearances for Russia.
