After a goalless first-half, the Germany striker opened the floodgates on the hour mark and Martin Demichelis (63) and Luca Toni (69) netted within the next ten minutes.
Klose bagged his second of the evening on 75 minutes before completing his hat-trick in the closing stages at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern are three points clear at the top of the Bundesliga, with
Bayer Leverkusen climbing into second after a 2-1 victory at
Nurnberg.
Stefan Kiessling gave Leverkusen the lead (39) but Marek Mintal cancelled out the visitors' advantage with a 73rd minute penalty.
But Tranquillo Barnetta ensured the sides were not level for long as he scored the winner just three minutes later.
