Hoffenheim have extended the contract of defender Isaac Vorsah for a further three years.
Vorsah had 12 months to run on his existing deal but the versatile Ghana international had agreed to remain with the Bundesliga outfit for an extended stay.
The 21-year-old is currently on duty with the Black Stars as they prepare for the start of their Group D World Cup campaign against Serbia.
Vorsah - who arrived at the Rhein-Neckar Arena in 2007 from Asante Kumasi - will now be able to focus his attentions on the national team with his club future tied up.
He said: "I would like to develop further in an optimal environment and Hoffenheim offers me all the right conditions for that.
"Therefore, I am looking forward to playing with Hoffenheim in the coming years."
Hoffenheim general manager Ernst Tanner was also delighted to have penned a new deal for the 6ft 5in star, who has established himself in the club's back four with some commanding displays.
Tanner said Vorsah's ability to play in the holding midfield role added to his appeal, adding: "We are happy to have tied down long term an important player in Isaac Vorsah.
"Isaac can play anywhere in defensive positions and, given his young age, he has a lot of potential."
