Defending Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich must 'turn the corner' by beating Hoffenheim on Tuesday, according to goalkeeper Hans-Jorg Butt.
A 0-0 draw at home to Cologne at the weekend followed the same result against Werder Bremen a week earlier.
Before that, Bayern lost 2-0 at Kaiserslautern and can count themselves somewhat fortunate to have beaten Wolfsburg with a late goal on the opening day of the season.
All that is too little, given their ambitions, and Butt has called on his team-mates, who reached the UEFA Champions League final last season, to put things right.
"We have got to ensure that we turn the corner now," he said. "Nobody will be giving us time and we should not allow ourselves any time either.
"We need three points."
Bayern are already seven points behind surprise league leaders Mainz, who are their guests next weekend.
"We have scored only two goals in four games and that is too little for our expectations," admitted the club's director of sport, Christian Nerlinger.
Meanwhile, Bayern have announced that Austria international David Alaba is set to miss several weeks of the season after sustaining a double-sprain of an ankle while playing for a reserve side.
