South Korean Son Heung-min has signed a new deal with Hamburg which will keep him at the club until 2014.
The 18 year-old, along with fellow youngsters Muhammed Besic and Miroslav Stepanek, were offered improved deals as the German outfit looked to tie down their most precocious talents.
Sporting director Bastian Reinhardt is delighted to have agreed fresh terms with all three and is convinced they will go on to have bright futures at Hamburg.
"Our sporting philosophy at Hamburg is to have young, hungry and talented players at the club in the future. We have begun that today by handing this contract-extension to these three players," he was quoted as saying on Goal.com.
"All three, but especially Son and Besic, have shown their potential from the beginning of this season."
Son scored his first Bundesliga goal last weekend against Cologne and is expected to feature regularly over the coming weeks due to an injury crisis at the club.
