Bayern Munich teenager David Alaba is unlikely to return to Hoffenheim on loan because he wants to be involved in Jupp Heynckes' plans.
Hoffenheim said in June that they hoped to keep the versatile midfielder following his successful spell at Rhein-Neckar-Arena in the second half of last season.
But Alaba, who recently renewed his contract until 2015, has held talks with new Bayern boss Heynckes and is now keen to stay at compete for a place under a new regime.
The Austria international told Deutsche Presseagentur: "I am just focused on the priorities of pre-season training.
"I am fully committed to having a great pre-season. I am happy to be at Bayern Munich and I like being here very much.
"No-one knows what is up next, given that the club could be signing a new player. I am just concentrating on doing my very best in training."
Alaba added: "Before I had talked to Jupp Heynckes I had a different view on going out on loan or staying on here.
"Jupp Heynckes handed me a lot of confidence, this was a boost. This is very important for a young player."
