The Bundesliga side have struggled to engage in talks with the Senegal striker with his agent, Jim Solbakken, suggesting he would have no trouble finding the striker a new club in January.
But Kind has urged Diouf to consider staying with Hannover and would welcome the opportunity to discuss a new deal.
He told kicker-Sportmagazin: "I always tell the players they are deciding their future, not the player's agent.
"Mame Biram Diouf is getting back to the top of his form.
"I am hoping he will find a new mood and a new motivation. It would be great to discuss a new contract at our club."
Diouf has scored five goals in 13 appearances in the Bundesliga and is the club's main forward.
Solbakken said: "It's a fact that there are three clubs that would be keen to immediately take Mame under contract."
The former Manchester United player has been linked with a number of clubs, with strong interest shown by Premier League duo Cardiff and Stoke.
