Werder Bremen are expected to name Daniel Jensen in their squad to face FC Nurnburg
Werder Bremen's Danish international Daniel Jensen has recovered from an achilles tendon problem which has kept him out of action since last summer's European Championships.
The 25-year-old picked up the injury soon after joining the German double winners from Spanish club Murcia over the summer; now he could finally receive his Bundesliga debut against FC Nurnberg this weekend, after being included in the squad.
"I am not expecting anything but I believe that I might get my debut, most probably late, as a substitute in the second half," he told Ritzau.
Bremen will no doubt be keen on pressing Jensen into action as soon as possible, after his transfer was marred by contractual difficulties; the Germans eventually handing over an undisclosed fee to Murcia, after initially believing the Dane to be a free agent.
