1860 trio sign new deals

1860 Munich have secured the services of three important squad players as they attempt to return to the Bundesliga next season.

Experienced utility player Harald Cerny, Chinese midfielder Jiayi Shao and Cameroon striker Francis Kioyo have all committed their futures to the Lions.

The news comes as a further boost to new 1860 coach Rudi Bommer a day after the signing of Alemannia Aachen midfielder Karl-Heinz Pflipsen.

"I'm delighted that Cerny, Shao and Kioyo have decided to stand up to their responsibility to the club and have accepted new deals that reflect the new financial reality," Bommer said.

Meanwhile, 1860 could lose German Under-21 international defender Andreas Gorlitz after Bayern Munich boss Uli Hoeness confirmed that he wanted to sign the talented youngster.

Speaking to SportBild, Hoeness confirmed that he had made both Gorlitz and 1860 an offer and was waiting for a response.

"The ball is now in 1860's court," said Hoeness.
