Hamburg have signed Bayern Munich striker Paolo Guerrero for an undisclosed fee.
Hamburg have signed Peruvian international striker Paolo Guerrero from Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich.
The 22-year-old has agreed a four-year deal at the AOL-Arena and will complete the move after a medical in the coming days - neither club has revealed the transfer fee involved.
"Paolo has proven without a doubt at Bayern that he is a dangerous striker," HSV sport director Dietmar Beiersdorfer told the club's official website.
"He has an impressive goals-per-game ratio, is technically gifted and is always able to set up goals.
"We are sure that he still has a lot more potential in him."
The news will come as a major boost to HSV coach Thomas Doll who has been looking to reform his attack after losing strikers Sergej Barbarez, Naohiro Takahara and Ailton this summer.
