Lucio has decided against making his Bayern comeback against Spartak Moscow.
Bayern Munich defender Lucio has decided against making his comeback in Wednesday's UEFA Champions League clash with Spartak Moscow.
The Brazil international, who has been out of action for three weeks with an ankle injury, will not risk returning on the artificial turf in Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium.
Lucio will now target a return in Saturday's Bundesliga clash against Stuttgart, who sit one place and one point ahead of Bayern in the table.
The German champions will also travel to Moscow without Germany international defender Philipp Lahm, who has been told to rest.
Bayern will also be without long-term injury victims Owen Hargreaves and Valerien Ismael as they attempt to pick up the one point needed to qualify from Group B.
