The 35-year-old Peruvian's current contract with the German champions runs out at the end of the season.
Pizarro has yet to be given a new deal by Bayern, but the former Chelsea forward insists that he is not in any rush to finalise his future
"It would not be bad to make a decision on my future before the end of the season," he told kicker-Sportmagazin.
"But I am in no hurry. There will be something else if Bayern Munich should decide against giving me a new contract.
"I will definitely carry on playing and I am ready to face competition at Bayern.
"When I joined the club for the first time in 2001, they had five strikers: Giovane Elber, Roque Santa Cruz, Carsten Jancker, Alexander Zickler and me.
"There are now two strikers and maybe next season there will be three strikers. That's not many.
"I always have enquiries from other clubs," he added. "I mainly want to remain with a good club and be part of a good squad that wants to win trophies.
"I will only leave Bayern for a foreign league."
