The 32-year-old is still suffering from the injury that kept the Latisana-born ace out of this year's World Cup, but is still very much part of Marcelo Lippi's side after committing himself until 2005.
Pessotto has been with the Turin giants for seven seasons, and has made over 150 appearances for the club, having joined from Torino way back in 1995.
"In a month I could be back in Lippi's selection," said Pessotto. "It will be a while until I'm at 100 percent, probably nearer Christmas."
Meanwhile, reports emanating from Italy are suggesting Juve have increased their offer for Bayer Leverkusen's Brazilian international defender Lucio.
An offer around the é¼30 million (£18 million) mark has supposedly been tabled for the 24-year-old, with a lucrative five-year deal ready to be offered to the star.
Lippi is a big admirer of the skilful stopper and is keen to land the highly rated Samba star, after failing to secure the services of Alessandro Nesta during the summer.
