Leverkusen midfielder Jacek Krzynowek has been linked with a move to Wolfsburg.
Out-of-favour Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Jacek Krzynowek has been linked with a summer move to VFL Wolfsburg.
German media reports claim that the two clubs have agreed a deal that would see the 29-year-old Polish international move to the VW arena, but Wolfsburg have yet to sort out personal terms with the player.
Krzynowek joined Leverkusen in 2004 from Nurnberg, but has failed to earn regular first-team football under coach Michael Skibbe this season.
The Pole was a transfer target for Harry Redknapp in January as he looked to bolster his Fratton Park squad after allowing Laurent Robert to leave. But Krzynowek decided to snub a move to Portsmouth in favour of fighting for a place in the Leverkusen team.
A move to Wolfsburg would see the midfielder reunited with Klaus Augenthaler, his former coach at Nurnberg and Leverkusen.
