On-loan Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno has reiterated his desire to remain at the club beyond the end of his loan contract when it expires in December.
The keeper, on loan from Leverkusen's Bundesliga rivals Stuttgart, has been featuring regularly in the first-team at the BayArena.
Stuttgart manager Bruno Labbadia said at the beginning of the month that he wants Leno to return to provide competition to No.1 Sven Ulreich and expects him back at the club after Christmas.
But the 19-year-old, who is contracted at the Mercedes-Benz Arena until June 2014, remains hopeful of extending his stay at Leverkusen.
"I am very interested in staying on at Bayer Leverkusen," Leno told Sky Deutschland television.
"In the end the decision will not be mine to make as I have a contract at Stuttgart. There will be talks between the two clubs in the coming weeks."
