Sibusiso Zuma doubled the lead on 53 minutes, but Per Mertesacker reduced the arrears pulling a goal back for Hannover just two minutes later.

Mainz moved out of the bottom three with an impressive 4-1 win over basement boys Nurnberg.
Mainz were gifted the opener on nine minutes when Thomas Paulus put through his own net.
Benjamin Auer added a second just two minutes later, but Stefan Kiessling gave Nurnberg hope with a goal on 14 minutes.
Antonio da Silva restored Mainz's two-goal cushion right on the stroke of half time and Michael Thurk added a fourth soon after half time.
