Nurnberg produced a stunning fightback to claim a 2-2 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The visitors looked to be on course for a cosy victory as they were two goals to the good with 20 minutes remaining, but Nurnberg have their eyes set on Europe and fought back to take a share of the spoils.

Sotirios Krygiakos set the visitors on their way when heading home from a corner on 20 minutes and Naohiro Takahara handed them a cushion when slotting home on 69 minutes after Raphael Schafer had parried Christoph Preuss' shot into his path.

Christoph Spycher turned the ball into his own net to hand Nurnberg a lifeline and Robert Vittek popped up with a leveller with three minutes left on the clock.

The point was enough for Frankfurt to climb out of the drop zone.
