Energie Cottbus will be without defender Igor Mitreski for the next month.
Struggling Bundesliga outfit Energie Cottbus will be without defender Igor Mitreski for the next month.
The Macedonia international has been diagnosed as having torn syndesmosis ligaments after being carried off during last weekend's defeat at Nurnberg and will now be out until the end of March.
Better news for Energie boss Petrik Sander is that club captain Kevin McKenna is likely to return to action this weekend after recovering from a knee injury.
Sander has also hinted that regular first choice goalkeeper Tomislav Piplica could be facing the chop after his mistake cost the eastern German club a point at Nurnberg.
Former Hertha Berlin custodian Gerhard Tremmel could be given a chance to impress as Energie look for a crucial win against Bielefeld on Saturday.
