The Brazil-born youngster has already begun training with his new club, although he is unlikely to feature in the first-team this season.
Feilhaber is not expected to encounter any problems working in Europe if, as expected, he gains an Austrian passport via his Austrian grandfather.
The midfielder has an eye for goal after finishing as UCLA's third highest scorer in 2004 with five goals from 16 starts.
