Arnesen was sacked by the German side last week after finishing seventh in the Bundesliga - a position that saw them miss out on European qualification.
The club were initially linked with a move for Fulham boss Martin Jol, but are now in talks about taking Karlsruhe's general manager Oliver Kreuzer.
But the time it is taking to put a new man in charge is causing unrest in the dressing room at the Imtech Arena.
Aogo told Neuddeutsche Rundfunk that plans over who the club will sign this summer should already be in place.
He said: "The most important phase is six months ahead of the transfer window. Now all the clubs are out doing business.
"You have to sack a manager way ahead of time. This is what we have wasted away."
Jansen added sarcastically: "This won't frustrate me. I have been at the club for some time and I am used to this kind of thing."
