Striker to have talks with Wolfsburg after Everton and Juventus links

Mario Mandzukic's agent is planning to hold talks with Wolfsburg after claiming the Croatian striker is thinking of leaving the Bundesliga club. The 26-year-old scored three goals for Croatia at Euro 2012 and reports have suggested Everton are lining up an £8million bid to pair Mandzukic with his international team-mate Nikica Jelavic. Juventus have also been strongly linked with a move for the forward and Mandzukic is open to the prospect of joining the Serie A champions. He has two years left on his contract with Wolfsburg, but the former Dinamo Zagreb player's agent Ivan Cvjetkovic says Mandzukic wants to play European football next season.

Adventure

"There are many rumours about his future, but it is too early to talk about it," Cvjetkovic told tuttomercatoweb.com. "I must first discuss things with Mario and understand what might be the best solution. "He is ready for a new adventure but we must not forget that he still has a two-year contract with Wolfsburg. "I will meet the club on Monday and you'll know more. "Mario wants to play in a European competition, it's one of the reasons why he is thinking of leaving. "Mario is a big Juventus fan, who would not like to play there? They are a great club."
