Michy Batshuayi says he was racially abused during Borussia Dortmund's Europa League victory at Atalanta on Thursday night.

Batshuayi, on loan from Chelsea, made the claim on Twitter after Dortmund drew 1-1 away from home to go through to the last-16 of the competition 4-3 on aggregate.

The Belgium international joined Chelsea from Marseille for £33.2m in July 2016 and scored nine goals in 28 appearances for them in 2016/17.

Batshuayi played a further 25 times under Antonio Conte this season but was allowed to join Dortmund on loan until the end of the campaign after Olivier Giroud made the move to Stamford Bridge on transfer Deadline Day.

The 24-year-old made an instant impact in Germany, scoring five times in his first three matches, including two in the 3-2 first-leg win over Atalanta.

But while playing his part in Dortmund's impressive result in Bergamo, Batshuayi says he was subjected to racist chanting at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia.
