The two Dortmund team-mates clashed after the club's 1-0 win over Werder Bremen, after Rosicky had missed a late chance to make it 2-0.
Goalkeeper Weidenfeller raced to confront Czech Republic international Rosicky, but both players have moved to play down the incident.
"We had a small row," Rosicky told Idnes.
"It was a very thrilling match and there were a lot of emotions. We shouted a bit at one another.
"I don't even know exactly why he jumped at me."
Weidenfeller also said that it was just a minor incident, and insisted there was no animosity between the two players.
"These things sometimes happen in football," said Weidenfeller. "It is all over now.
"I'm glad that Tomas was the player that scored. He's an exceptional player."
Dortmund manager Michael Zorc also insisted that the incident had already been dealt with by the two men.
"I heard something in the dressing room," said Zorc. "They cleared the air and everything is now okay."
After a shocking first half of the season, Dortmund have produced a remarkable comeback and are now in with a slim chance of making the Uefa Cup, although they are more likely to be involved in the Intertoto Cup.
"We have produced a small miracle," added Rosicky.
"We don't have financial problems, and we don't have to ask if we have to come to training the next day.
"We still have a big chance of finishing seventh, which would give us about 10 days longer on holiday."
