Reinhard Rauball condemns Christian Worns over his public criticism of Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund president Reinhard Rauball has slammed defender Christian Worns after the player aired his views about the club's future.
The German international spoke out after striker Jan Koller's decision not to sign a new contract and expressed his concern that the former European champions, who are struggling financially, will 'fall apart' in the near future.
Rauball vented his anger at Worns for making his remarks publicly and hinted that the player should move if he is unhappy.
"If anyone wants to leave the club then they are quite welcome to do so," he said.
"Mr Worns should seek contact with those responsible in the club and not make his comments public as that does nothing for the atmosphere here," he continued.
Worns, Sebastian Kehl and Lars Ricken have all still not decided whether to accept new contracts with Dortmund and Rauball has urged them to make swift decisions.
"I appeal to the players' honours, they are part of the Borussia family and should decide what they want to do quickly so that we can start looking for alternatives if need be.
"After all, there are still lots of good footballers who would love to come to Dortmund and play in front of 81,000 fans every other week," he added.
