Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund have won the race to sign Matthew Amoah.Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund have won the race to sign Vitesse Arnhem striker Matthew Amoah.
Vitesse made the forward available for transfer after Amoah said he would not sign an extension to his expiring contract.
The Ghanaian had hinted that he would sit tight in Arnhem until after the World Cup, but he has opted to accept the proposal from BVB.
Vitesse and Borussia have agreed a package and Amoah will move on when the transfer window opens in January, provided he passes a medical.
The 25-year-old has been handed a deal until the summer of 2008 and BVB will hope he increases his stock at next summer's World Cup finals.
