Veh took charge at Eintracht in 2011 and has, to date, only been employed on one-year contracts by the club.
The 52-year-old is confident a decision on his future will be made in the new year and he is not ruling out signing a deal for longer than 12 months.
"I am going to sit down and discuss this during the league's winter break," Veh told Sport1 media.
"After the winter training camp, everything will be done, then we will know if I am going to stay on beyond this season. We are not going to dither or end up undecided.
"Thus far, I have just signed new one-year deals. But I am growing older and could opt to go for a different way regarding this."
During his time at the helm, Veh has led Eintracht back into the Bundesliga and into this season's Europa League, where his side have won both group games against Bordeaux and APOEL Nicosia.
An inconsistent start to the domestic campaign sees Eintracht sit 13th in the Bundesliga table after picking up nine points from their opening eight games.
