Nemeth to make German move

Former Middlesbrough striker Szilard Nemeth has agreed to join Alemania Aachen.

Former Middlesbrough striker Szilard Nemeth has agreed to join Alemania Aachen.

The 29-year-old signed a two-year contract at the Bundesliga side.

Nemeth arrives at Aachen on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Boro.

The Slovakian international spent the last six months of last term on loan at Strasbourg, but the French club opted against signing him on a permanent basis.

Nemeth's agent Karol Csonto confirmed the move will go through once the player undergoes a medical next Monday.

"He will undergo a medical in Aachen on Monday but then will return to Slovakia to prepare for Slovakia's Euro 2008 qualifiers," Csonto told pravda.sk.
